Recently got blessed with the chance to climb in sicily, mainly learnt top rope and belaying, was perfect for a newbie on rock like me. Couldn’t recommend this any more to someone looking to get outdoors and climb, Massimo was great to climb with and an awesome instructor.

Sono appena trascorsi due giorni intensi di corso di arrampicata con Sicily Mountain Project. Desideravo fare questa esperienza da tempo. Seguo Massimo sui social da un po' e appena si è concretizzata l' opportunità, ho colto la palla al balzo. Un’esperienza che va oltre la tecnica: è stato un vero e proprio viaggio tra mente, natura, e bella gente con cui si è creata da subito un’atmosfera di supporto e condivisione. Massimo super professionale, disponibile, preparatissimo, bravo, simpatico e "beddu" Ci sono stati anche momenti di difficoltà, e il suo incoraggiamento è stato fondamentale per non fermarsi. Un’esperienza intensa e coinvolgente che consiglio a chiunque voglia mettersi alla prova e scoprire una nuova connessione con sé stesso, i propri limiti e con la natura, tutto intriso da sana condivisione, risate e puro divertimento. Bellissima esperienza di trekking sull'Etna, grazie a Massimo, che guidava un bel gruppo, ci siamo divertiti tantissimo, una guida di alto profilo professionale, umano e di grande conoscenza del vulcano. Bellissima giornata anche meteo, che ci ha permesso di godere delle bellezze della montagna, tra neve, sole e lava che scendeva giù, come un manto rosso che accarezzava il monte. Great 2 days learning how to multi-pitch. Day 1, the basics, building an anchor in different situations, different knots, and rappelling. Day 2, actual multi pitches implementing the basics, in real life. Super safe and wonderful locations. Highly recommended and Massino has a wealth of local climbing knowledge

Hi, I’m Massimo Flaccavento, and for years I’ve been guiding nature enthusiasts to discover the wonders of Sicily.

Born and raised in Sicily, watching Mount Etna. Since childhood, I have discovered and loved the mountains, starting to practice climbing and alpine climbing. I have attended various courses and workshops and obtained the necessary certifications to become a first-level Alpine guide. After years of experience in hiking with the Ashara project, the need arose to expand my services and guide you in discovering the Sicilian rock walls. I enjoy being around people and consider myself a friendly, kind, available, and patient person who knows how to convey his passion and knowledge to his clients, making them feel comfortable and safe.

It’s the professional guiding service I’ve crafted with years of dedication, training, and study, ready to make every adventure an unforgettable experience.
