Your guide in Sicily
Hi, I’m Massimo Flaccavento, and for years I’ve been guiding nature enthusiasts to discover the wonders of Sicily.
Born and raised in Sicily, watching Mount Etna. Since childhood, I have discovered and loved the mountains, starting to practice climbing and alpine climbing. I have attended various courses and workshops and obtained the necessary certifications to become a first-level Alpine guide. After years of experience in hiking with the Ashara project, the need arose to expand my services and guide you in discovering the Sicilian rock walls. I enjoy being around people and consider myself a friendly, kind, available, and patient person who knows how to convey his passion and knowledge to his clients, making them feel comfortable and safe.
Guide regularly registred to the regional association of Mountain and Volcano guides of Sicily.

In the last twenty years, Sicily has become a magnet for climbers and hikers from around the world. However, despite the growing interest, many corners of adventure remain hidden, waiting to be discovered.
Sicily Mountain Project is my embodied dream, an invitation to join me in exploring less-traveled paths, climbing colorful cliffs overlooking the sea, and exploring lush valleys. It’s the professional guiding service I’ve crafted with years of dedication, training, and study, ready to make every adventure an unforgettable experience.
